First Edition: Metamorphosis
The International Program in Scenography emerged as a pilot project during the 7th edition of the Dbutan-T Festival organized by the Andrei Mureșanu Theatre in Sfântu Gheorghe, in partnership with the State Theatre Constanța. The first edition lasted 7 days and took place on the newly renovated promenade of Lake Siutghiol in Ovidiu, Constanța County, which provided an ideal space for creation and display through its fluid and continuous path. The program brought together 19 artists who collaborated to create site-specific scenographic installations inspired by the theme of Metamorphosis, from the works of the poet Publius Ovidius Naso, the namesake of the city of Ovidiu.
